Take them to the cleaners!!!! This dealership has probably pulled shit like this before and no one stuck up for themselves, so the dealership feels they can do it to everyone. Please do the world a favor and set them straight!!!

Re: rejected on another sy?

I'm not %100 sure which actual dealership but it was faulkner gmc, pontiac, buick. in westchester, PA. the toll free number is 1866-253-5218 the used sales manager is Hugh Galespy and the salesman was John Brown.
today I called the manager and he gave me a bunch of "tough crap the trucks sold" and "i don't know anything adout your deal" the salesman said "my manager wouldn't let me take an out of town deposit", even though I never heard that untill way after the fact so I just assumed that being I used my bank card, I had a good record of the transaction but apparently not. he also said "its just business let it go" and a bunch of other garbage. I told him I was going to have to take legal action and he kept defuring to " i'll send you a check for $100.00 out of my own pocket" I can't do too much now as he took my card info on the phone to speed up the deposit and never ran the card. I think I need to contact the Better Business Bureau and quite possibly cold call a lawyer in PA. and see what they might have to say. I'm at a loss right now for sure.

Re: rejected on another sy?

i would pursue it and if you are really a cunning guy i have a nice set up. I would have one of my good friends girls or my girl or wife call posing as the liason for a specific lawyer, ask to speak to the sales manager, give the "this call is being recorded for quality assurance" and ask him to state his name for the record as this is is regarding a specific pending legal action between yourself (name) and his dealership and see if he hangs up or wants a true lawyer coming for him if he thinks he is that smart.

Re: syclone for sale

Im not suprised one bit I work right by that dealership mybe a mile away... almost every dealership on that strip is full of scum bag peaces of sh!t. My uncle was service manager there for over 30 years but with what they have been doing lately regaurding repair work he left last year and hasent looked back since. I would never buy from them if there where the only people on the plannet but thats just my 2 cents :D

I would take the $100 and run, that Sy was nothing special. A 12K mileage truck that looked like it had 100K on it.

Re: rejected on another sy?

never buy used from a dealership on a 15 year old vehicle. you overpay for second hand info that the original owner will never reveal.

theres lots of trucks out there

Re: rejected on another sy?

the reason I was into that truck was it was owned by the owner of the dealership, he might be a member here? he had the truck painted because it sat outside alot by previous owner. so not a complete mystery*** AND*** they were taking my tahoe in on trade. no one seems to be interested in trade plus cash and I haven't had any luck selling the truck so?

May he is right, but I would be awfully suspicious. The engine compart didn't look 12K miles to me and the crossover tube tend to get a dull marking on top with truck with higher miles. The rub mark having nothing to do with sitting or not, it look like it 80-100K to me. Maybe it was just the picture, maybe someone modified and bought a used crossover tube, maybe the odometer isn't correct. Over the years, I have met a few shady people who have bought collectible cars, disconnected the odometer for 11 months every year. Dealers themselves especially seem to get caught upon mileage vs value.

Re: rejected on another sy?

Some one did that to my wife's sister. She put money down on a car with one salesman an another saleman at a dealer sold the car before she could show up. Thats the kind of communication they have some times. They sell cars out from under each other. Its backwards. You need to call them up and fill their ear full is what you need to do.
