Removing the driver's side interior panel (rear quarter)

Hey, guys. On the Typhoon, I'm trying to remove the driver's side interior panel that sits behind the driver's door. From what I can see, I think I've removed most of the screws that hold it in place, but it's still pretty solid at the bottom of the driver's door opening. I'm wondering if the seat belt has to be unbolted from the floor to allow this panel to be removed.

On the plastic seat belt retractor cover, there's an opening on the back to access the torx bolt for the seat belt. I've twisted a few torx sockets so far trying to break it loose, but no luck yet. Am I right that this needs to be removed to get the side panel loose?

Thanks,
Galen

I was in the same spot you were a couple weeks ago. I gave up.

Sorry I can't help - but at least know you're not the only one.

That panel was a PIA the ass to remove. I had to remove upper and lower seat belts, the rear window panel,, the two trim pieces in the back that hold the window panel, and undo the back seat. You also need to remove the rera speaker as well.

At least it sounds like I'm on the right track. I guess I need to invest in a high quality 1/2"-drive torx socket and put a big breakover on it.

Thanks,
Galen
