Re: Reno Members?

Were these two trucks involved with customrestore?

I dont know what that is? The owner uses one as a daily and the other he bought from a mechanic who had just built the engine but the rear axle is bent and has a salvage title.

Re: Reno Members?

Trucks #2725 and #0365. Neither were involved with Customrestore from what I deduce. They're both pretty rough from what I've learned about them. #0365 is on a Salvage CERTIFICATE, not a salvage TITLE. There is a big difference as far as what is required to register and re-title the vehicle to put it on the road legally. Mechanical condition is not really known. But it would be best to presume that the odds of something major being wrong with one or both of them is a given, considering they are "un-loved" Syclones. The current owner has not had the salvage cert truck ( #0365) running. He bought it for parts to fix #2725 that got damaged. There appears to be a significant amount of missing / damaged cladding, so that should factor into value.

There's some highlights. Plus the truck numbers.

Thanks for your input. I have talked with the owner and he confirmed what you stated above. He did say the good one is completely stock and can be driven anywhere, stating he daily drove it for a long time, but just needs fresh paint. Shipping to Nashville will be around 2k but even with that i think its a decent deal. I have to give him an answer soon because, according to him, he has buyers lined up behind me if i pass.

You need to look at "worst case scenario" Like 10k for paint,5k for an engine ECT.If these piles are piles, you would be 10x better off in the long run by buying a nice stock loved truck for like 12k.

I wouldn't touch these 2 trucks with a 10 foot pole that was attached to ANOTHER 10 foot pole. :2cents:

Listen to the first 3 songs here, then get back with me.
