well since this side of the forums is somewhat dead ill post some of my lil projects
the first being repainting my roof
well when i got my syclone all of the paint on the roof was gone in its place was rust and primer... i forgot to take some before pics but i have some of the rest of the process the guy in all the pictures is my dad we traded off workin on it
the first step was to sand... and to sand alot.... i started out with 120 grit on an RO sander and then the contours by hand with 120 grit
there where alot of pits so i used a rust removing agent followed by a rust "transformer" which supposedly turns rust into a "black sandable primer" it worked pretty well and hopfully took care of all my rust issues
after that it was time to tape everything off and start in with the primer
and thats where im at right now tomorrow will be wet sanding with 600 grit followed by taping everything off again and then the actuall paint... so it should be all finished up by thursday
