I don't understand why they are being so difficult when selling their products.. kind of sad if you ask me.

Re: Replacement Brake Lines

I know the owners real well, they are car guys let me know who you speak with out there

If I have time I'll call again today.. I'm just looking to get replacement brake and fuel lines for my sy. Cost is an issue, but I'd rather do it once and never have to worry about it again.

I'm also interested in some of the clips they make to replace the stockers.

Re: Replacement Brake Lines

yeah, i'm finally getting around to this.. hopeing to place the order today..

does anyone who has ordered have the part numbers they used?

I see the following:

Re: Replacement Brake Lines

didnt do the fuel lines Ill have to dig for my brake line reciept

ahhh alright.. well those are all lines for a 89-93 std cab short bed.. I'm guessing they are all the same.

I'd rather replace the fuel and brake lines instead of risking feeding anything bad into the new motor

its expensive too.. stainless adds up quick.

I have to figure out if it is actually worth it.

Re: Replacement Brake Lines

yeah i also had two unions(that were prone to leak when i first bought the truck) deleted. i think they used THOSE clamps because of the braided s/s slip.

NO part numbers, sorry. i did mention that some of you guys may be inquiring about the same fuel lines. tom at classic tube is the dude.

i still need to find the front to rear brake line assembly. any leads? single line... not a kit

mind telling me how much those lines cost?

If they are on par with the price of the fuel lines at inlinetube, i'll call and order today, especially with the braided ends.

too much. ~$230 just for what you see. but they are exactly what i wanted. so its not a very good deal... i think a FULL kit from inline is about the same price. maybe?

fuel lines from inline aren't that expensive.. but every metal line in the truck totals to $500+ in stainless, $400+ in oem

Re: Replacement Brake Lines

the lines with the rubber hose are like $170 from inline.. not sure I have the extra $60 to spend.. is it worth it.. probably..

hmm.. I need to order these this week.

Re: Replacement Brake Lines

as an fyi, I called inline tube again today.. spoke to Mark, he checked and said that they do not have any lines for the syclone.

I asked about the lines for a 92 s10 std cab/short bed 4x4 4.3v6, he said he doesn't really have anything for something that new with tbi or fuel injection.

I found this odd considering it is listed on their site and in their catalog, hell they even have part numbers for it.

I guess i'll have to go somewhere else.

Classictube wanted $200+ for the brake lines, and even though they made the braided fuel lines for one of us, the guy i spoke to said it wasn't a good idea because fuel tends to break down the rubber used inside of the braided steel.

I had no idea it would be so damn difficult to get replacement stainless steel brake/fuel lines!?

Re: Replacement Brake Lines

I am in need of a brake line kit as well, a total brake line kit in stainless steel would be awesome. I would like to know that answer as well, Thanks!
