Re: Rim Confirmation

For the wheels to be flush you'll need to run about a 5mm spacer on the front and a 25 mm ( or 1 inch adapter ) on the rear.

I'll try to get back to you on tires, it'll be a little different then the norm because of the width's your running, you might have to have Hood reprogram you DRAC to accomidate a different tire heigth.

Do I have to use spacers??? If I dont use spacers will it cause any thing to break or rub??? As for the DRAC goes I prob. wont need that since I will only use these rims/tires for the track only... Thanks for the help...

You may or may not need them on the front, those wheels being 0.5" wider then stock and having a higher offset will sit inside more then stock, so they could rub more on the control arm, which could be fixed by putting an adjustable steering stop in also, or just don't worry about it.

The rears will be really close, your going 1.5" wider then stock and putting on a wheel that has a 43mm higher offset then the factory wheel, so without a spacer it could sit in as much as 2.5" farther then it does now, on the backside. If you measure and have about that or more room you could be fine. I should have a 9.5" wide 56 mm offset wheel to do some test fits with here in a week or so, I'll be able to tell you for sure if it will work, whether it looks wrong or not.

Yeah if you don't need the DRAC reprogramed that's fine then, it wont hurt anything.

Which Corvette wheels are they? I run 93 sawblades 17" 8.5 front 255, 9.5 rear 285 w/o any spacers or rubbing.

Jay, do you have a picture? Does it seem like the rears sit in too far though?

Will do, the sizes Jay has posted will work for you also 255/45R-17 and 285/40R-17, but they about .5" taller then the stock configuration so it will change your gear ratio slightly, if you care.
