I'm heading out to run some errands and get some food with the chicky tonight. I'll drop by a bookstore or two, and see if I can find a few copies. If so I'll get em in the mail to you guys ASAP.

....specifically, look for the April 2007 issue of GMHTP (Page 25 -28) with Robert's article called
"Ride of the Valkyries" by Scott Parker.

Scanning will be a bit difficult as the first page has the Syclone spanning two pages
and the www.gmhightechperformance.com web site has not been updated to contain the april issue.

Ride of the Valkyries.. its from swedens religion " Asa tron" before the kristians came an destroied us Wikings

And for U that just wants to know more.. :D

Valkyries
by Micha F. Lindemans
The Valkyries ("Choosers of the Slain") are beautiful young women, mounted upon winged horses and armed with helmets and spears. Odin needs many brave warriors for the oncoming battle of Ragnarok, and the Valkyries scout the battlefields to choose the bravest of those who have been slain. They escort these heroes, called the Einherjar to Valhalla, Odin's hall.
The Valkyries are also Odin's messengers and when they ride forth on their errands, their armor causes the strange flickering light that is called "Aurora Borealis" (Northern Lights).

Some of the Valyries are Brynhildr, Göll, Göndul, Gudr, Gunn, Herfjoturr, Hildr, Hladgunnr, Hlokk, Hrist, Sigrdrifa, Sigrún, and Svafa.

Old Norse: Valkyrja. An 8th and 9th century term for them is Wælcyrge.

Re: Roberts Sy in GMHTP

The photos were taken here in Jeffersonville IN, with Louisville KY in the background.

I can't tell you how many times my big arse had to climb in over the roll cage that day. Of course it was fun driving it the 1mile down the road to car wash to vacuum out the inside before the interior shots were taken.
