The photos were taken here in Jeffersonville IN, with Louisville KY in the background.

I can't tell you how many times my big arse had to climb in over the roll cage that day. Of course it was fun driving it the 1mile down the road to car wash to vacuum out the inside before the interior shots were taken.

I recieved the mag on friday and i saw it. Nice write up.

Mine came in the mail yesterday.

Doesn't say much about shipping the truck over from Sweden just for Nats.
I thought it would have been a bigger deal. nothing on the cover even.

Congrats to Robert for the coverage, but I think it should have been a cover truck.
I mean "fastest AWD SyTy in the world" c'mon give us some cover.

I agree 110%. Heck I was there during photo shoot, moved the truck 100 times around to many angles, parking lots, etc.

The article really leaves a lot to be desired. In general I have not been impressed with any article in GMHTP, guess that is one reason I am not a subscriber.

Me and the local guys decided this year, we are going to do our own photography and write our own article to submit to magazines. Heck they may not get published, but if they do at least the article will be accurate and have more important details.

I totally agree. I would have been nice to also mention something along the lines of how mild mannered of a street truck it is.

Magazine articles. They are only as good as the information you feed the editor. I usually get them to send me a copy before they publish anything.... depends on how well you know them though.

Congrats Robert!!
I just got my sub the day before yesterday and I liked the article. Then again I don't know your truck like you do either. I agree with you that the articles info are not always straight. In Ed Hess's article they said PTE was defunct but it's ATR that went under if I'm not mistaken. They didn't quote your HP or torque numbers which always pisses me off because I like to know what kinds of numbers certain mods are capable of putting out when properly tuned. I loved that pic of your engine bay though. The angle makes the turbo look like it's larger than the engine itself.

The article has the truck listed as the fastest AWD Sy but I was under the impression that it is the fastest Sy AWD or other wise. Am I wrong?

S.
