The weather looks to be really nice and should bring out another nice collection of cars, and trucks. I will send some PMS to those of you who made it out last time. If you can make it out it'll be worth it. The show is always a little different so come and check it out. Hopefully we'll have a better Sy Ty showing than just two trucks. Post up if you can make and if you're bringing your SyTy.

I am having a big tree taken down but I think I can be there. I will have the Typhoon this time. A buddy is putting a smaller turbo put in the T on Friday so it may not be ready. I am going from a PT67 to a 61BB.

We will meet on the left side of the lot once you pull in?

its going to be nice to see your ty again jay. I do have to ask why are you stepping down in turbo sizes for the t-type? I can understand going to a DBB assuming your pt67 was a journal bearing turbo but stepping down in sizes as well?

Heys guys, some what new, bought a ty back in the spring, just waiting for some work to be finished on it. It would be cool to meet some other guys in the area with some syty's. My question is how late in the year do you guys meet up? Not sure when the ty will be done, hopefully soon!! I'm in Elk Grove, not to far from Rolling Meadows.

Anytime for the most part, not sure about the rest of the guys but i store my truck for the winter, usally around late October. I'll wrench on them anytime.

Awesome. Hope to have mine back soon to be able to enjoy before the winter. It's only got 47k, so I'm not gonna put it through chicago winter either. Not to mention I have tons of things I want to do to it this winter, what gets done, if anything is another story.

Rolling meadows car show only goes for a few more weeks but I am always ready to meet up social/wrench sessions year round. My truck(s) go in storage as well for the winter but meeting up for food or beers is always a good idea for me

Sounds good. Im probably gonna need some help/experience this winter, as this is my first syty. I have a crazy 7 nights a week scheldule until mid december. (Making the last push to finally graduate from college and work at the same time!) So i probably wont start any projects on it till January. But if I get the TY back before the bad weather hits, I'm definetly ditching class/work to take it out and beat on it, hopefully meet up with some of you guys and gain some knowledge out these trucks.

Ok so we have 2 TYs with Adams as a possible third if he gets his AA set up completed. I know there are more of youz out dare..What? It's Chicago. Sorry It's late for me. Post up people and represent with fellow owners. Maybe if they see a few more of these rare trucks they will NOT try to wave me off this time. It's always good to see a few friendly faces and talk BS about our crazy love affair with these things. Looking forward to seeing you guys again Brandon, Jay and Adam. As mentioned above wrenching on these things with some help is the best and only way to learn and I'm always open for some.

Yup it's there. I was at the new place a while ago, it's a lot bigger than the old place. I think they are having bbq on the 30th. Don't know when Guy gets back in town though. Haven't really met the other guys that work in the shop yet. He seems to get bashed alot on this board?! Not sure what the story with all that, but he seems like a stand up guy to me, no pun intended.

Come say hello on the 30th, I will be the loud mouth cocky guy running my mouth to the local racers (love/hate relationship) and I will introduce you to the other workers at the shop.

Guy gets back to work on the 24th by the way.

I spoke with Michael today (sweet 29K Ty) and he is also gonna try to make it out. So that may be a total 4 Tys and 0 Sys. Where all the Sy owners out there? It'll be fun.

Isreal and Mike form last time (both Red/Grey Ty owners) I do not have contact info to let you know were heading back there tomorrow.

quit picking on the syclone's we cant always be running or driving correctly. I wouldn't mind driving it but would anyone in the area have a flatbed to get me back when the 700 spills its guts all over golf and/or algonquin roads? I know I couldn't help myself to an end of the year boosted launch for everyone but I seriously don't think this roadmaster has one left in her. Its been a nice to years with my trans and I but I think this winter is time for me to say goodbye forever and get a waller built unit
