RPM 58mm TB performance

I tried doing a search and couldnt find anything on here. Is anyone using this tb? http://www.sytyperformance.com/inde...facturer_id=0&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=26

I'm getting my shopping list together and want to do most of my mods all at once. How does this tb perform? Not going to do a ton of performance mods. What I already have, and a K&N in the battery location and electric fans.

In a few months I want to do a A2A IC, but thats down the road.

Will be sticking with the stock turbo and would like to stick with stock injectors.

Just looking for small HP increases here and there.

Any input is much appreciated.....Thanks

Its worked pretty good for me. Keep in mind though you are gonna have to port match the upper intake to the tb in order to benefit the small increase.

Plus, its nice and shiny! :D

Thanks Harmon. I'm gonna buy a upper and lower and have them ported and polished, so that will be done as well.

Any idea what kind of power the tb adds?

Hey Trey, With the mods you have already, I'd invest in a 20g instead.

I have the waller turbo and I really like it but if you are looking for more power out of your set up you need to tune it for what you have on the truck

so with that info does that mean the air foil is a good investment even on our trucks or just for the n/a application? :dunno:

That's amazing in reference to the airfiol. I've alwasy thought they were a waste of money. Guess not. Now the question lurks is this true for NA cars only?

air flow isnt quite as important on FI as it is on NA.

I'd imagine the foil would be a small gain for us, not even noticeable from the seat. I think the foils are a great idea, nice easy bolt-on, and they cover the turbulant section between the bores. And it'll prevent alky from puddling in between the bores.
