Hey Guys
Need help here and I have a few questions.
I'm in the market for a Ty and I found one person willing to sell me one but ut had a bad transfer case. He says that the Ty will drive fine as a RWD truck. I'm just curious how long can you drive it like that?
Does it matter if you get an electronic controlled transfer case or do you need to get a manual?
What is the actual model or part number for a stock transfer case?
Here's the description of one I', looking at: This is a 4X4 Transfer case It has 272 ratio and the model # is 233c. It is out of a 98 s10 4x4 pick up truck. The truck had 55k miles. It had a 4.3 v6 with an 4L60E automatic trans. Will this work? If so, what modifications do I need to do?
How much does a stock transfer case go for?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!
