Chill out buddy, it's a JOKE on here. If you hung out here long enough, you'd realize that there is a friendly 92 vs 93 debate on here.
Did someone die? No. Does it suck that the truck burned...joking aside, of course it does. But then read my post above about my advice about carrying a fire extinguisher. Do you carry one in your truck? If not, go get one and if something like this ever occurs to you, you can come back and thank me later for the advice.
But you know what? Wishing my house would burn down....you get a F-U-C-K YOU directly from me, my wife, my kids, and my pets who live in it.

I agree with Dave, when I first saw the picture I thought it was odd how the passenger compartment was ablaze, but the engine compartment was not. Could it have started from the inside? Yes, but it is fairly rare. My dad has bought many parts cars at salvage auctions over the years that were burned, it seems that a large majority of burned vehicles result from being torched as a result of financial problems or mechanical failure(to not have to pay for work out of pocket).

Someone could have easily reached into the open back glass that they opened after pulling over to retrieve items that werent consumed, yet, by the fire. Then they just left the glass up. I know I personally wouldn't shut the glass after retrieving items from a burning vehicle. What would be the point?

Had the instrument cluster on my 93 TY go up years back when the mechanic was taking it for a test drive. Thank God I had a fire extinguisher in my truck at the time, or it could have looked like this. Probably would have a lot more money in my pocket now though in retrospect...

Fire extinguishers are a item with a finite lifespan. Every so many months, shake it... do you hear/feel the movement of the powder? Is it more than a couple of years old? is the gauge in the green zone? If no... shitcan and buy a new one. Commercial uses have to be tagged for inspections and serviceability, why would we think that a home use one would be different? Check them all monthly.
I'm not sure it's entirely a fire extinguishers fault for not working.
