Sandy Syclone project

Re: Sandy Syclone project

Actually getting to the point where we might try to fire it up for the first time this coming Friday[/URL]

That is a rewarding feeling. I still remember cranking my Aspen and having it fire up within 3 seconds....to be honest, I was almost amazed. I didn't go to the extent you have but a complete drivetrain / stand alone tuning swap was not easy. Actually driving it down the road was even more rewarding.

Congrats to you in advance. The Syclone is coming along nicely

Little update. It does run, but it runs like crap. Must have something we are over looking. Currently working on getting power to the aldl so we can hook scan master up and see what the problem is.

We figured out that i made a mistake. I ordered a 3 bar map when I was replacing all the sensors. Since i plan on going with tt chip i figured i would just spend the money once on a 3 bar instead of buying a 2 bar then a 3 bar when i got chip. Well evidently stock ecu doesnt like the 3 bar. You live and you learn. Put the stock 2 bar in and it ran great!

Its out and have been putting miles on it. Has a few issues. Slowly checking them off the list

Congrats!
No small feat taking on a project like yours.
Now you have your own personalized truck as a result and that's even more gratifying I'm sure.
Nicely done for sure.

Thanks so much guys. Means a lot when you work that hard for it. I bought 3 inch blocks because the thing sat so high. But they were way too much since i already had the belltech drop leafs. So we decided to just cut them down to 2 inch and i was really happy with how it sat.
And thanks Tbone the propshaft took care of a lot of vibration and noise i was having!
