Sensor should be in the side of the drivers side cylinder head toward the rear.

Mat is already plugged in. That is temp sending unit to cylinder head as stated above.

You guys rule! as always... I'll check it again tomorrow. I figured it was a sensor, just couldn't remember where it went. I stood over the engine bay for like 15 minutes looking around going "where the f*ck does this thing go???".

This would definitely explain how I was able to drive around the block without the temp gauge moving.

So all I need to do now is plug this wire in, steal some plutonium from some Libyan terrorists, throw it in my Typhoon and gun it to 88, to get back to the year 2000 and stop my younger self from ever buying one of these trucks?
