We haven't set a "close" date, but we'd love to know who's coming (whether they register by that time or not) within the next couple of weeks (I'd say no later than the end of August). We're trying to give Tim a head count on t-shirts (and sizes) so that he has time to get them made.

What does the registration actually entail? I'm new to this, so just need some info on it. I'm stationed at Fort Stewart, so Savannah is a short drive for me. Barring school in Maryland for my next promotion (no dates on the school yet), I plan on being there in November. May end up trailering my Ty in with SyTyJim if I don't have her running by then to see if any gurus will be able to figure her out. Thanks for the information in advance!

You are registered for the event along with your truck. Also you pay your fee which includes a t shirt. What else would you like to know?

Basically, registration covers a shirt, food cost (we are doing a low country boil dinner), a raffle ticket for giveaways (some of the stuff we are giving away retails for a few hundred dollars), probably a few stickers and other misc little things within the registration packet. Of course, some of the cost is mixed in to help pay for the event with the misc little things to make it happen.

The effort is always to keep cost to a minimum. We know its expensive to own/drive these trucks, but at the same time we want to bring you the best possible event so you have a good time.

Understood, and thanks for the info. I got the list of available school dates for the end of this year that I needed. Unfortunately for me, none of them jibe with me being able to be in the area for the Shindig.:rant: I need this school to be considered for promotion to the next rank, though, so it's not an option for me. A $400 dollar per month pay raise is incentive enough for me...LOL

Current registration costs will be cut off on Sept 15. If you have NOT registered yet, please do so now. After Sept. 15, we will be bumping registration cost another $10 for the slackers and late entries.

If you have paid for registration, we have your T-shirt info...

But the pre-order is to help determine how many shirts/sizes are going to be needed so we can make sure there is time to make them for the slackers who havent paid up yet. Dont spend your money on taking the wife/gf out, buying food for the dog/cat/kids....spend it on registering for the event.

It is really important that people get registered up!
