Shooting ranges in BG?

Anyone interested in hitting a local shooting range and throwing lead downrange at high velocity?

There is an indoor and an outdoor range right in BG.

I know there is a lot of other stuff going on over the weekend but figured it may be a good midday rest for an hour or so to get out of the heat. If we shoot indoors that is.

I am sure there will be a few of us carrying folks around with something to eject projectiles out of.... ;)

KY gun laws are pretty easy to deal with. i will try and bring a box or 2 for my 40 cal and shoot some if the weather is nasty, but rather do syty stuff.

i might bring one or two. nothing special. depends though, i still may not bring any. i'd be down though if the weather sucks.

Crossing the nazi republic of IL is the worst part of the trip so make sure you are unloaded and have the firearm and ammo locked up separately for that stretch or you will definitely regret it if you get stopped.
Not sure if possession of a loaded firearm is a felony in Ill-Annoy but they will treat you like a felon for sure.

KY honors nearly everyone's CCW permits so if you hold a permit at home please check

to make sure you are legal to CCW in KY.

I have an email in to the Firing Line regarding gun rentals and just renting 2-4 lanes for open use if we encounter rain delays or heat stroke conditions.
Usually lane rental is per head so even if you only want to unload one or 2 mags you pay for the whole hour.
Avg up here is $15/hr for an indoor lane with target retrieval.
Paper targets typically $0.25-$1 each
Ammo is where you will pay, especially buying it at the range.
I do not intend to bring an arsenal but if you want to shoot any of my toys plan on buying ammo in whatever caliber you want to try out.

9mm is $19.99 / 100 at Walmart but typically $35 at the range
.45 is closer to $25 / 50 at a gun shop, should be close to that at the range.
Been so long since I have seen 45 at walmart I forget what the sell it for. lol

If you bring a piece bring your eye and ear protection as well.

Nice rifle!

I am going to shoot on of those tomorrow at a dept of conservation sponsored shoot.
Friend of mine is handling the sportsman shooters assoc booth.
All range time and ammo is free from the MDC!
I love living in MO some days. lol

.45 at wally world is .30 for win and 28 blazer still hard to find 40 is the only thing my walmart seems to have regularly so I have about 2500rnds:p

but I have never found ammo cheaper than at walmart on any shotgun rifle or pistol

Adam I will bring something that is a little more your speed when it comes to guns.


























It is my wife .22 6 shot target gun. j/k I will be bringing a few that i normally carry on me any way.

full size .22 or .23 dont remember but i love it too.

G22 is the full size.
I have one as well.
A little big for ccw, I would actually prefer the 23C everyday of the week.
