Keep 'em coming i like reading about them,i'm a noobie to the syty but not turbos i have a GN and when i take it for a cruise in the summer every one and their mother wants to run i drive my ty everyday but don't get any action! So just remember everyone has an opinion good or bad! just my :2cents:

keep it up, I dont care. if posting your races makes you happy then post away. If they dont want to look at it then they dont have to. bothers me about as much as bad radio station I dont tune in anymore.

Yeah dude, keep it up. I hardly ever get a kill in the ty. A) it doesnt move much and B) noone wants to do anything other then cut me off on the freeway :rant:

I voted you should keep posting. I read your stories for entertainment purposes. Not sure how many of them I believe, but I have never raised the BS flag. The day I read that you beat a twin turbo Viper up to 220, then I am going to raise it.

I just have a different definition of a "kill" than most people. To me, if I pull up to someone on the street and we race from a light and one of us blows the tires away thats not a kill. Some of your stories indicate that you didn't know the other guy was racing til you saw his headlights shifting from side to side, etc. To me that means you took off like a rocket at which time he was like "oh this Jimmy wants to play" he hits it, blows the tires away and goes sideways. By this time you obviously are way ahead so you let off and call it a kill. Maybe you should pull over, ask the guy what speed his car runs best from and go from that speed. If you pull on him from that speed then its a kill, if he gets you then its a draw......you beat him off the line but he outpowered you from a roll.

I didn't mean any hard feelings on the other post........just being my normal smartass self. Keep racing and keep writing about it.............

See thats a lame attitude IMO. I dont launch at every light. I usually dont even launch unless I have a pretty good idea the other guy is gonna go for it or its somehow confirmed. I pull over and talk to many people about thier cars. If I were to race everyone from what speed they ran best at Il lose the majority of my races and so would most of the people that own SYTYs. They are not meant for racing from a roll, which IMO is just plain gay anyway. Some people see it different. We paly our game in our arena and thats the whole point of the trucks, atleast I think. So tell me, if I race a guy at the track, I beat him but at the end he was starting to pull on me even though he didnt cross that line first, does that mean he bea tme? Another thing you a lot of people dont want to take into consideration is that hwen I post a race, no matter what I say in the post, people automatically think Im saying its a kill. I dont get why I have to go through this two and three times a year. Guess in the end we all have our different opinions.

:rotf: Thatll never happen. I thoguht about using Warmpancakes quote in his sig but have to think of something original. FWIW, I type alot of letters to property owners a lot and I make sure they are all correct, I do know whats right. I just get crazy on the keyboard and dont really feel like going back. But Ill keep it in miund.

I actually have a ton of vids. Some are really crappy, some are prett good, quality wise. I have a program and hardware to get them here but dont know how to use it yet. One of these days I will. I will say that I havent had the camera in the truck for almost a year. The wife doesnt like to film I guess.

Once it warms up, that is the plan. We are still fighting the factory wiring and some flakey voltage noise that is being fed into the TPS ground. My buddy doing the install took a job with Spectre Performance and subsequently moved to LA several months ago. The truck has been on the stock computer this summer and hasn?t seen the road since fall.

Kelly, another local guy on this forum has a built Typhoon that I guess they got running with a crank triggered MegaSquirt, the route I want to go. I need to stop by and see how that is progressing.

As soon as I make some progress, I?ll post up. Sorry to whore this thread.

Hell no!!! This is called SyTy Kills and it's specifically for posting them so I think you should do just that.

I read them all and it gives me motivation to put more work in on my Ty so I can crush others more thoroghly.

I have to go with the masses on this one, nothing wrong with posting the kills, but the boring everyday crap like a neon, or g6 would be a waste of time,the good stuff is nice to read,so I vote post them.
