- no codes

A boost leak would have to be somewhere between the turbo and the intake... Did your wastegate flapper come disconnected? Pull your intake and see if your turbo spins freely, maybe its siezing up on you...

May want to check your fuel pressure to see if it raises with boost. If it doesn't then you need a new FP.

Re: sick issues under boost ... please help AAARRRGH (update)

is it possible that my ignition system has a tilt ?

means, i got stock wires and an MSD coil w/o probs for a year and swaped em as a routine, now i got the cap + rotor + wires from RPM (look : http://www.raceprovenmotors.com/cart/index.php?cPath=21_136 )

now, is there a chance that this setup fights the MSD coil ???

checked the turbo, spins good , no leak form turbo to upper IC to manifold intake, WG rod connected ...
... what else could have happend :steamer: ???

can i check the FP in another way then @ idle on fuelrail ?

please :repost:

you need to see if your FP raises underboost, i needs to raise 1psi FP at 1psi of boost.
idle won't show anything, maybe powerlaucnhing it, while somebody is checking to see if it raises, but damn, would that look silly once the brakes stop working.

you could also have a vacuum leak, maybe you need to check that.

... i tossed my stockcoil after the MSD passed the test :banghead:

and ignition sytem is brandnew (borg-warner cap+rotor, taylor wires) ...

... and still confused :hissyfit:

will double-check the wires, hoping the probs are gone ... if not - am i right when i think the only possibility left is the fuelpressure - or else ?

Re: sick issues under boost ... AAARRRGH (2nd UPDATE !!!)

2nd update :

today pulled wires one by one on running engine - seems like anything on cylinder no.5 has a tilt ... i mean the wires (taylor spiro pro) are brand new ...

sounds like i got a broken plug , aye ???

is it possible that all the symptoms came from one fawked sparkplug ???
(must have happend when throwing 'em in, cuz they're also new)

... and : do i have a real chance things come fine after swapping the plug :dunno:

Re: sick issues under boost ... AAARRRGH (2nd UPDATE !!!)

I know, mine would do this when ever it was really hot out. Never had time to fix it yet, but my fuel pump just quit when I went to start it a couple days ago, so hopfully the problems are related.
