Some info/braggin :D from last race with Bad Ass.

A small report from E-boda, Finaly everything works great so I knew this would be fast runs.

Motorn var inte helt mappad på dom högre trycken så det var bara till att logga och justera.
Så detta racet var tanken att sotera ur det sista för Norge om ca 3v där jag tror på rökartider.
Engine was not totaly tuned on thehigh lvls of pressure, so I had to get som logg and do fine tuning. this race was for sorting things out for next race in Norway, in about 3 weeks we´re there to run hot smokin ET´s


Repa 1: En danskurs i let´s dance :) Tappade greppet direkt, men jag höll i ändå. Ville få en logg. Tiden på denna sväng: 9.43/248km. 201:6.28/202km, och en sur 60 fotare på 1.77, men mamma vilken kraft det är i motorn!
Run # 1. A dance lesson " lets dance" :D lost traktion direktly out of the hole, still held down, got to get a logg.. time on this "dance" 1/4 9.43@155 1/8 6.28@126+ Oh g**d what power this engine pumps out

Repa 2: Höjde trycket lite mer. Samma sak här, fruktansvärt dåligt grepp upp till 150m. Tid: 9.31/251.5km. 201:6.20/204.55km. Sur 60 fotare igen: 1.78.
Run # 2. More pressure, same as # 1. lost traktion and skidded around for about 500 feet
time 9.31@157+ 1/8 6.20@127,84 lousy 60 again 1.78

Repa 3: Samma tryck. Lite justering utav mapp. Bättre 60 fotare: 1.67. Nytt personbästa på 201m av hastighet: 206km. Tid: 6.10 402m: 9.18/249km.
Run # 3. Same pressure some tuning on map and chassie better traktion 60 fot to 1.67
New personal best speed in 1/8 mile 128,75 Mph :O ET 1/4 9.18@155.625 1/8 6.10@128,75


Repa 4 : Skulle testa 75hp gas för att se logg på detta. Då sa det bom någonstans. Förmodligen kolv, eller topplockspackning.
Had to get a logg with 75hp NOZ, and then BOOOM, guess a headgasket or piston said godbye.. :C

OBS! Alla repor är utan gas, förutom repa 4, som aldrig blev av :)
All previus runs was without NOZ exept run 4 that was a no show run..

Jag är mycket nöjd med dagens prestation! Nu vet jag att det kommer att gå fort på klister. Har lite för mycket pulver, för gatan. Ännu en gång vill jag tacka den goa publiken och den fantastiska banpersonalen!

despite the kaboom Im still werry happy with todays results, NOW I know this Sy is gona "fly" on prepped track´s , the power now is to much for the street or unprepped track. Want to say THANKS for the suportive public and the wonderful security crew that helped out at end of track

Jag såg din bil för första gången förra året på emmaboda, blev sjukt imponerad och såg verkligen fram emot att se den i år igen.

**** those specs. do what you do....sorry it went kaboom...
what did he learn from this? tell us a lesson. so anybody else running 9.1's in the 1/4 mile won't make this mistake...

that is one of the cleanenest engines i have ever seen, shame it went boom. go lean on the spray?

Pretty impressive times with all that sliding around. Will be interesting to see some prepped track times.

depending on cost´s and parts maybe in 2-3 weeks..

Looks like some nice runs. Really sucks about breaking whatever, but you have to pay to play, right? ;)

Assuming you guys can get it fixed in time, when is the next event on a real (prepped) track?

6-7 june is next race in Norway, and they have record prepp every time, just wheather and IC holding up and We gona go fast.

And lesson learned.. SKIPP F***N NOZ. :C
NO ADVICE to get from NOZ tech line. so probably this was the last of noz inject on Bad Ass..

Were all these runs done with E85 Fuel.

Would be interesting, since last year you were running C16.

Thought I read somewhere that they couldn't get C16 there. That they only had 100 oct or something like that. I'm probably wrong....but thought I saw that in another thread.

Your bouth right.

No C16 to get here BUT we had some other non leaded fuel for race to get, EXPENSIVE as H*ll.

And YES from this year we chose to be "green" enviroment friendly, worki´n against global worming and jadda jadda jadda :D

Bad As is converted to E-85 for good,
Besides ½ price, theres alot of benefits for us to run E-85. cooling, fast burning, High octane rated, easy to get at (every gas station have it) low price, and NO GASOLINE FUMES TO GET HEAD ACE from..
