Smooth Wiper Cowl?

Does anyone know of a company that sells a smooth wiper cowl? I've taken out the wipers as I won't be driving the truck in bad weather and I want the room. I contacted http://www.mpmotorsports.com but they don't take credit cards!! They want a money order, why not just send cash  I'm leery of doing business with a company that doesn't take credit cards in the year 2002. I've searched the net but there isn't as much as I thought there would be. TIA.

i'm also interested in this. I wouldnt mind keeping my windshield wipers(they'll be hidden behind the 4" cowl hood anyways) though. I havent checked out this mpmotorsports place yet, but with the first gen s10's being so popular i figured someone would of made one...but my searches have turned up nothing.

The answer is NO. Sucks but nothing we can do about it.

I did end up getting one from Denny Raab off Ebay though, should have it here mid next week.

Don't think thats for 1st gen's though. I found a place that does them for all years except 1st gens.

Also, i just learned it is illegal to drive without wipers, didn't now that.

yep its also illegal to drive with out a functioning heater:tup: unless the vehicle is pre 1972 also you have to have a horn,

yeah i didnt know what year that was for . yeah no wipers was one of the 5 tickets i got last weekend when i drove my 59 , i even tried explaing to the nice office i took them off because channel 5 news said sunny with no chance of rain, so why put the extra miles on my wipers if i knew i wasnt going to need them :rotf: , i thought it sounded convincing.

Wow going to have to keep that in mind since no matter if I go left or right off my street i pass a police station within the first 4 blocks.

Anyone want to start a pool on the first time they get me? haha

That heater rule is dumb though, having heat is over rated, along with ac, power steering, radio, and just about anything else under the hood besides brakes and motor!!!

acxtually its not a heater just defrost, radio shack sells a 12v heater that works well and the cops up here accept it when we have been asked,

One of my buddies has one on his Suburban and his defrost and heater still work fine. If you guys come up with any other ideas post them up. I've wanted to rid my truck of the wipers for a while. These trucks need all the help they can get in the aerodynamics department, plus less weight equals much gooder :ninja:

I don't think it weighs more than 5lbs, id really say closer to 3lbs or so... thats a guestimate from holding the entire assembly. Didn't actually weigh it though

I know, I was being sarcastic  I'm in the habit of pulling just about anything off my truck that doesn't make it faster :screwy:
