Just the deep sockets alone would sell for $250 on sale off the truck! I refuse to pay full price for any Snap-On Tools.

I don't get it. A 300 piece Craftsman set cost me $199. What's so special about this set? The name? Or are they special sockets?

My Craftsman set has been phenomenal. Aside from being versatile, the material has stood up to crappy weather and lots of use. They still look relatively fresh.

I can't see what property of a tool would be that much better that it would be that high a price. They obviously have a strong brand. Guess I'll keep my eyes peeled for any Snap On deals!

Got mine for like $200 on tool day at my school way back in the day ...same exact set....it was a one day event but all dealers would come and sell 50-60% off their price....that was the day that I got loaded up on tools for the rest of my life....spent about 5k on everything you could imagine from hand tools by snapon....matco....mack....s and k cordless impacts in IR to air in 3/8..1/2...1/4....I felt like I was in heaven with all the shit I got that day...I still have it all too
