snow - not really feeling it right now. last night on the way home from work- about six inches on the ground alight that i've never seen before comes on, a red light that is flashing and it says "check gages" so i do. no oil pressure. i pull over and check the ol' dipstick- zippo, nothing, gooseegg.what do i do now. theres a store about three miles down the road so here goes nice and easy. wow made it, into the store $3.50 a quart. 14 dollars and i am on the road again.feel so much better now, the snow is so nice looking, no traffic, so peaceful. four miles roll by, WTF theres that damn red flashing light again,come on . i'm afraid to look, NO- no damn oil pressure again. nearest store is a few miles down the road. go easy man, real easy. make it to store. in door is locked, i am three miles from home, forgot to mentionNO cell phone. store lets me in and i grab lots of oil, they were getting ready to close. throw some oil in and hope for the best. made it home , the plow guy hasn't hit my drive way yet. here goes , i make a run for it , past the start of my driveway,about 20 feet in and i'm sliding, sliding , damn i'm stuck. Today, two and a half hours of shoveling, jacking and stuffing boards under the wheels and i am out. check the cause of losing oil, the part of the oil cooler that bolts onto the motor is leaking, leaking alot. sy-ty fun.

Got about 9" up in NH, expecting 20+ over the weekend .... I'm going to have to bring a snowblower to the junkyard next week :lol:

WOW! 8" of snow!... Up here in Central Ontario we had over a foot fall just today! There are more snowmobiles than cars on the roads! We have about two and a half feet more or less. The Typhoon is all packed up for the winter, and the Rotax triple is all ready for fun in the snow! Today if you were able to see 50', the snow let up for a moment! They havent plughed my road yet today, its 7:15pm. Im glad I have a Jimmy for winter driving. If the wind picks up, we are going to have a lot of "fun" trying to commute anywhere! Rememer, leave a large space cushion between you and the vehical in front of you, steer into your slide, and drive according to weather conditions! Have a safe holiday season!
