Wish I could turn my Ty into the ultimate pursuit vehicle.

These crown vics just seem like dogs after being in the Ty.

Sweet, don't give me a ticket on i-94 on the way to school now..... :drinking: Hey maybe, you can help if I ever get a ticket in the "D". I know a lot of officers down there, they used to coach my football team.

Operations manager for Sony Disc Manufacturing. We manufacture Playstation games, DVD video/ROM, CD audio/ROM, SACD (super audio), Dual Disc, and soon UMD (universal media disc for products like the upcoming Playstation Portable (PSP)). We are currently making about 2.4 million discs per day.

For all of you waiting on the new PS2 Grand Theft Auto, I'm already sick of looking at it.......

I'd do what I can. Anytime for a fellow SyTy owner.

I'm a Locomotive Engineer for MTA Metro-North Railroad. My company vehicle has 3200 hp :D

SWEEEEEET!!!! I always wanted to be an engineer and have been into trains longer than cars or even women (hey, Ive liked trains since I was like 3yrs old). I actually got to take the engineers seat on a Chessie System (now CSX) coal drag with 8 units MUed togeather (a mix of GP35s, GP9s, and GP30s) for ~15 miles of 3%+ grade and had to regulate the throttle between run 7 and run 8 to maintain a 10mph speed. I was prolly 15yrs old or so and youd have thought I just hit the lottery by the grin on my face when I stepped down off the lead unit after that. Too bad that coal branch has been abandoned(sp?) for ~10yrs as it was a rail fans heaven due to the steep grades, sharp curves, and rugged terrain.
Trains rule!!!

I have a large collection of Lionel Model trains ranging from the early 1930's to present.....they were a fun hobby until I discovered SyTy's.

Hey, fun thread. And interesting.

I work in the environmental education field...so I'm always hearing about "evil" SUV's and gas consumption, air quality, etc. It's always been a bit of a dilemma 'cause I'm a car nut as well. Used to drive my gas lovin' 79 Trans Am to work in the mountains of S. California...big ol' Cragar SST's with fat rear tires...always got interesting looks from the "other" nature types.

Ideally, I'd have a Prius for workday commutes, and a Typhoon for nights and weekends. For many years, I drove a VW Fox and had an 87 GN garage queen (which now resides tweaked in Washington State).

Today, my ride is a Subaru Forester and my garage (and bank account) are being prepared for a Typhoon. (low mileage, stock, pref. NOT black or white)

Hang onto them and keep them as mint as possible (in the orig boxes is even better) as they are worth quite a bit of money and will only appreciate in value.

Model trains are my planned retirement hobby when I get too old, feable, and poor to tinker in the garage. Ive got a pretty good collection of built and unbuilt HO scale kits as well as ready to run stuff right now and scour ebay about every day for new additions.

I'm a generator field service technician. If it burns fossil fuel and makes electricity, I'm on it. Doing my part for the Texas grid (yes. we have our own) and for those afar in need with deep pockets (ie northeast US last year). I specialize primarily in emergency standy systems with automatic recovery and custom PLC based multi-unit paralleling switchgear. Overtime is unavoidable and essential since I have a six mouthed money eating dragon in the garage.

Trivia: I served in the Navy with S Morris in the early 90s. His new Ty was my first exposure. The rest is history :D

Believe me, I was a hardcore collector in my early teens. I have stuff from the 1930's and 1940's in original boxes. I am kinda glad I got into that hobby, because like you said they only appreciate in value.
