Socal : Irwindale Speedway 10/19/06

anyone interested, we should be taking ghettosled out for some more test and tune at Irwindale Speedway, thursday 10/19/06. Starts at 5pm.

It's only 1/8 mile, but thats all we got unless we drive 3 hours to Vegas or wait for the next PSCA race.

Maybe some other syty's came come out and either race or watch.

theres lacr i live about 10 minutes from it in palmdale. But it wouldn`t be a very safe track for a 9 second truck. they are digging within 50 feet from the track and theres sand everywhere on the top end of the track. but if your going to irwindale i think i might just go to check this beast out.

i'd rather race my truck on the motocross track then the dragstrip at LACR..

I'm down! I haven't been to the track since August 03 in fontana. I'll bring the sy and with the way that thing is runnin maybe i'll need you to rebuild 2 motors:roll:

I'm planning on being there.....since the Typhoon has the turbo half off, I'll hafta bring the Turbo PT.

Mike, what time are you planning on running? I wanna make it there before you get kicked off the track

yeah it'll be very tempting to race it, but i should really wait a few more hundred miles til i start flogging the hell out of it.

alright Steve, that gives you time to get another couple hundred miles on it :lol:

hmmm... maybe i'll try to do a lil tuning on the sy, and see if i can still squeeze a decent time out of it.

So it's all you Mike, name the day and we're there... looks like you'll have a good turn out of groupies

i'm hoping maybe the week of nov. 9th if they will be open. i'll be out of town for the next two test and tune sessions if they are open on thurs. i'll keep everyone posted.

i dont think they will kick me off since its only 1/8 mile. In either case, i will bring my doctors physical paperwork, so i can be getting licensed and they wont kick me off.
