It's Labor Day weekend which reminds us all that summer in Southern California is coming to an end!! Why not make this month's meet special and, uh ... show up? Though in recent month's we've had a few members of the family drop out of the SyTy scene: Justin949 - sold his Ty a bought a new F-150; Buddy (from Palmdale) - moved away; Chris Volk (SoCalSy) sold his 13k Syclone; and Keith (phoonerorlater) traded his Ty for an SRT-4 and moved away;

but what's up with the rest of you?

It would be great to see you guys show up and catch up; even if it'll be your second time in a year. It's been a while since we've had a decent turn-out. What better time is there than now to have a nice big meet? Holiday weekend, the weather is nice, it dosn't get dark early, and we have a great location. There is plenty of parking (where security cruizes in golf carts), nice neighborhood, and its near two freeways (91 and 605). It's time we take another group picture too.

hey all the sy106 is almost put back together, now i have a coolant leak in the water pump, so i will try to be there, started the upgrade in march and it almost done......

I will be there in my shiny new 1987 Buick Grand National (GNX #485) that just made the trip down from Vancouver, Washington

I can't stay as long this time, but I will make the effort for those that always show up.

You know I don't know what happend to Guy either. Fill me in. Oh by the way went to pick up the syclone tonight and the damn thing died while making a U turn to load up on the trailer, then it would not start up again... uhm can you say WTF? So it still sits waiting to get fixed again, I think it is a minor problem but still needs to get fixed of course.
Hmmm take the Rune out to the meet.... not a bad idea a bit far for that ride but no biggie I guess. I'll shoot it by my boss and see if he will let me off tomorow night.
