steve that is quite a haul for you and i know i sure as hell wouldnt come all that way if no one was showin up. so if you dont want to go i dont blame ya. maybe we can try and reschedule something for december?
i need to get my truck running good before the end of the race season... i havent been out to the track since that time we went, which was august 03. I'm way overdue, and i'll bring my insurance so i dont have to leave and go make a fake policy like last time. :roll:

I don't mind the drive, really; even if it is 49 miles away. The Ty dosn't get out as much as it used to anyway. Dude, I am always down for the meet... as long as I am not the only one there. Besides, Robert (Mtn Z), bought one of Scott's Syclones and he should be there too. I'm surprised he hasn't posted yet. I'll call him up today.
As for Adam. Well, we haven't seen him since Feb @ Bob's BB. I've tried calling him numerous times over the last two weeks or so, but only get voice mail. I've left him messages and if he listened them, he knows about the meet this weekend and that I'll be needing a smog here pretty quick. Ionno, we'll see.

hahaha damn i was hoping everyone woulda forgot about that
i wont do it this time i promise! that asshole from AAA eff'd up the paint all around the door trying to get in there, when i kept telling him to go through the window channel :rant:
i vote for an earlier meet time.
considering we turned the clocks back and its dark at 5 now... how about 330? or 4? this way it'll still be daylight and we can get some decent photo opps, and it will end earlier so people can still go out afterwards?
Lloyd if you cant make it out, we usually rotate meet locations... i believe they are: 'the loft' in torrance, 'bobs big boy' in burbank, 'flames' in northridge, and 'the hat' in brea (which is probably closest to you).
also, i did a search did and couldnt find the thread... did Mattias aka 'helfmann' ever sell his ty? i havent heard from him in a long time, and i lost his number when i switched phones.

After thinking about it more, your idea Neal, about having a December gathering instead sounds better to me. We could still have it at Flames perhaps, unless anyone objects and wants to change the location... doesn't matter to me. Because if Lloyd is not up to making the two hour drive only to hang out with us two, it prolly wouldn't be worth for him. In December sometime when Scott is back, and Robert's not at a wedding, we could have more than two trucks in attendance. What do you think Neal? Lloyd?

so should we make it at bobs big boy then? lil closer for some of you southern guys and im up for a french toast dinner!
Lloyd it shouldnt take 2 hours to get to Flames from riverside... if you take the 91 to the 71 to the 210 to the 118 it would take maybe a little over an hour? but i guess it depends on traffic and how fast you drive. no worries though, we'll count on ya for the next one!

That would be nice if I live in Riverside, but I don't, I live north of where Interstate 10 and Interstate 60 meet. Riverside is 35 min away on a good day
If the food is that bad, why not go somewhere else. I hope to have my new steering wheel installed by then, I can guarantee you haven't seen one like it.
