It's been at least 7 years since I've seen another SyTy that runs... yes, really.

I'm seeing quite a few socal guys posting on here these days, so we COULD put together a decent get together... provided it's at a time/date and location that's reasonable for everyone.

I'm probably the furthest north (thousand oaks), except for Dean (if he's even around anymore)... But anyone who's interested in putting something together/attending, comment on the thread with your location and then we can pick a central spot from there (preferably a place with food).

Once we get a spot figured out, we'll work on dates and times. Maybe July/August (this will give some of you guys some time to get your POS's running :lol:).

I'm thinking of something in the afternoon or early evening. No offense to Jay, but that 8am shit ain't gonna work :p. Not getting up at 6 on a weekend to drive an hour and a half just to hang out for an hour, unless you have a vagina and my gf can watch.

after my last car show experience, not sure I'd be on board with that hahaha... as no one knows wtf these trucks are anymore and would most likely throw us in some "mullet mini-truckin" section next to a metallic lime green S-10 on bags with lambo doors, 15 subs, and a hydraulic bed that lifts off the frame...

that's cool though... I could find some tight acid wash jeans and a 'life's a beach' shirt, dig my white Jordan 5's with the reflector tongue out of the closet... maybe tease up my hair a lil bit and get some Oakley's... I could rock that shit no prob :tup:

we could hang out next to this guy and his sweet ride all day...

Sounds like a good time. Once you pick a date and time. I can email the rest of the guy's in the the club and let them know. There is about 22 of us.

Maybe mid July on a Sunday. I know if its a Sunday Scott and the others he knows may make it also. Location wise I would say some big parking lot on the beach and maybe we can vote weather to move it north or south of us. There's not many pictures of SyTy's near the ocean! I was thinking a large parking lot on the beach somewhere between Palos Verdes and point Dume. That's my input.

Well July would be out for me and you guys are so far west for me that it would take a day and a half just to locate you on a map.

OC is always a blast. Balboa pier has a lot of parking and adult activities.

In LA county. White Point/ Royal Palms Beach is a cool scenic spot for a meet.

There's Irwindale but that's Thursday nights. I think Fontana is back up and running but I refuse to wait hours for one run.

How about a nice cruise through ACH or even GMR? I'm doing coilovers in the front and would love to put them to use. I just won't drive mine after I get the alignment done until whatever we decide to do.

do they still do the 1/8mi drags at qualcomm down there? I haven't raced down there in over 10 years. Once I get my Ty running good, I gotta hit those up again. Back in ricer day, I used to kill it down there... AWD in 1/8mi was almost cheating haha.

back on topic, so we're all thinkin something coastal? Hermosa or Manhattan beach would be cool, but there's never any eff'n parking down there by the beach.
