Socal Trucks Needed For Exhaust Prototype

Re: Socal Trucks Needed For Exhaust Prototype

they do look ok on the sy's i cant imagine how horrible they would look on a ty.

I would be interested in a GP if there is some way of getting an idea of what the price would be. I have an atr right now and im not happy with it at all

Is there any possibility you guys are also working on a dp, or maybe a complete package for a turbo back exhaust?? :D

Re: Socal Trucks Needed For Exhaust Prototype

The exhaust will most likely retail in the $425 range, but GP pricing should be under $400.

Our exhaust will be a stealth system with no flashy chrome tips, etc.. Just a full system that flares down just before the cladding in the factory location (both ty and sy).

As for the downpipe, we do make a 3" downpipe for use with upgraded (Garrett) style turbos, but feel that a 3" downpipe on a stock style turbo would not be worth the effort.

Duals would just be extra weight/cost over a single system and would not offer a significant flow increase. Assuming a majority of the buyers are still mostly stock, the stock turbo is still the biggest exhaust restriction.

If you still need a Sy, mine is completely bonestock. The original exhaust is still in place and I could bring it to you whenever you need it. Plus, I'm only about 50 miles from you so it's not that far.

Mike did the installation on my truck yesterday. For those that didn't know, my truck had the old K/B cat back that was made out of mild exhaust tubing. While this setup was good, it was almost worn out. With the new system that Mike is offering, the truck is a lot quieter now (unless you really get on it) and you can hear the turbo spool better. The high quality of this bolt on exhaust system is worth the investment. Now guys… let’s step up to the plate and support RPM with in this effort and maybe Mike will offer a stainless steel downpipe as well for the stock trucks. The truck feels like it may have gained some power as well (the K/B setup had no muffler). Gas mph has remained the same at 25 hwy

. Having said all this… over all I know that I like this system better and if you are thinking of doing your exhaust give Mike a call at:

I'm not a big fan of the way the exhaust tip looks. I'd like it alot better if it were to come out behind the tire pointing down at an angle with a straight cut.
