Was the interior pulled out and painted under the carpets? or is/was it still white?. I agree, I think that price seems low for something like that. But somebody should snap that one up for a good deal.

Thanks Ry. Just wanna be more than fair on my price, given the economy and move this to someone who will care for her.....if I didn't want the Audi R8 CF sitting in my garage by mid February, this truck wouldn't be going anywhere but I gotta move 6 vehicles in 4 weeks.

Norm, this truck was originally red when sold to Triad. PAS converted it to white/grey as the prototype 1992 for promotional video's and equipped it with the sliding rear window, Typhoon style steering wheel, Typhoon style mirrors and CD AM/FM stereo (which I have on hand). Todd Pocobello (the son of Triad's President - Mike) wanted it red on red so they repainted it to suit him when his Dad arranged for the company to let him buy it. I'll check under the carpet for giggles but I am betting it is red.

I do not have the factual documents in hand but I know who does . I had no idea when I bought the truck it was a prototype truck but it is pretty cool the history of it is preserved on Sportsmachine.com, which validates the facts before a truck is placed on their site. This particular Syclone has been on their site since it was birthed (1996 IIRC) so it is not something that just occurred.

I do have a copy of the title from the GMC dealership to Triad Corporation, which PAS answered to, and a copy of the title a couple years late from Triad to Todd Pocobello, which was the son of Mike Pocobello, the President of Triad Corporation. Triad had responsibility to market their prototype concept to GMC and then oversee PAS once approval was granted. We all know approval never came for the 1992 Syclone production, although I have a brochure showing the 1992 Syclone.

When the repaint was performed, the truck was stripped down to the original primer. Under the red paint and a layer of primer, was white paint (and it still looked fairly good). Nothing yet has surfaced to lead me to questions the claims of the historians and the one person who has the pertinent documentation contacted me right after I bought the truck. I offered to buy the documentation but it was/is not for sale.

No list; first serious buyer owns it but if it isn't gone by the end of the month along with a few others, I will lose out on the R8. My deposit on it only sealed it for 30 days and now, two capable buyers behind me want the R8. Thought this truck would be gone in a week at $12,500.....tougher times than I imagined.

Would sure love to see it stay semi close though.
