I am selling the 700r4 out of my truck Please read everything!!!

Asking $1100 OBO for everything

This transmission was purchased from RPM (Mike Lee) and was supposed to be a full build, what ever that is worth. It has about 8-10K miles on it, Fluid still looked new, no burnt smell, nice red color. It did have "some" metal shavings on the magnetic drian plug, but not many. I have also had a trans temp gauge hooked up from the install and have never seen it go past 180*.

I did have an oil leak from the motor (rear main or something) and the trany pan has always been covered in engine oil. I do not believe the trans has ever had any leaks. But i would also recomend at least having it cleaned up, and looked over by local transmission shop that you trust before putting it back it. As well as flushing the cooler, and lines.

3000rpm stall
PE polly trans mount
Big cooler
Filter housing
Lines and fittings if you want them, but i would run your own. My way wasnt the best.


The bell housing has a cracked ear, it has been this way when sold to me. Should be an easy fix for a good welder.

Numbers on the 3000 rpm stall converter "243111" if that stands for anything.

One of the corner fins on the deep pan is broken, it was like this when i purchased it.

I might do that, but im not sure how much the converter is worth. You can PM me an offer if you want, and we can go from there. I would like to sell it all, if anybody needs the full setup. But im open to ideas.

Do you know what this transmission was built to hold up to, hp and tq wise? What would the price be shipped, without the convertor? I already have a convertor, and you could sell yours to Ron. Thanks.

I think its the same one advertised on the the sytyperformance website. I know Mike sold me my entire motor/turbo/trany build and that they should all work well together. As far as a HP rating maybe 500-600, i dont know. I have a few emails from when i bought it, but they just talk about the FS thread that he posted on here for the trans. So i dont have any real information on it. We did talk about the stall, and it should be a 10.5" 3000rpm stall lockup converter.


Here is the info off his website for the trans.

700R4 High Torque Build. This build includes: Stock Master Overhaul, Shift Kit, 3-4 Shift Valve, 13 Vane Pump, Boost Valve, Billet Servo for 2nd and 4th Gear, 9 clutch forward drum, alton clutches/ koleen steels, kevlar bands, heavy duty torque drive package, and 5 pinion front and rear planataries. This is the best 700R4 we make

I also just check all my receipts and could not find one for the trans and converter. Found receipts for the lines, fittings, mount, and filter, but that was all from summit or jegs.

I have been checking on shipping quotes and they range from about $170 all the way to $600+ depending on if its residential and if a liftgate is needed. I know it can be done for around $200 i just have to figure out what company and if i need to take it to a distribution center.


Cam, do you have a commercial building or shop that would let you have it delivered to. I dont think a liftgate is needed as long as another person is there to help load and unload it, or a dock.

Looks like the converter might be sold, but everything else is still up for grabs. Im not set on splitting it up just yet, unless some one comes forward and wants the trany.



Anyway $700 and we split the shipping, and i cover paypal fees--- for the transmission, cooler, and filter housing. And if you want the lines and fittings.
