Im not totally understanding what the fuel trim cell (long/short term)these values stay the same at 128 until I let off the gas after a wot run,then EGR DC& EGR TGT turn yellow making the S term counts drop in teh 80's.Also what does it mean when reference pulse occurred 1.Is the spark retard the same as knock count?correct? If so my highest count was 2.5.This is good right?Thanks for help.I just got this and I dont really understand how to post my runs for you all to look at.

Ok here i go. You BLM's ar your long term fueling needs. You want them to be around 128. Your s-term are the short term fueling needs. If these are higher than 128 you are LEAN and if they are lower you are RICH. This lets you know if you need to add or subtract fuel. The knock count is???? but the spark retard or knock is what you DON'T want. You want that number to be zero all the time. In my case i am like a dog chasing my tail. Mine doesn't go away. :x O and thanks JW for my lesson on L and s terms.

Spark retard is how much it's retarding the timing in response to knock. Knock counts are how many times the knock sensor actually picks something up. You can use the "Knock Retard Alert" under the View menu for a nice big knock meter while you're cruising around... 2.5 only at shifts is good, 2.5 constant isn't so good...

Are you recording runs ok, and just having trouble actually putting them online? Once you get a run recorded, you just have to upload the .uni file to your webspace (www.yourisp.com/~username or geocities.com or something else), then post the URL to the uploaded file in a message here. You can't actually put the file itself here on syty.net...

I made an attempt on saving it to a floppy off my laptop.I think it took?My problem now is that our home computer is a piece,is has issues.When I try to retreive it off the disk it says "theres an error opening document,file does not begin with'%PDF"while in acrobat reader.Whatever the hell all that means.Im by far no computer whiz.

Record the file on your hard drive, then copy the ____.uni file to a disk when you're done, if that's not what you're doing.

It sounds like Acrobat is trying to open the file. Since it's not an Acrobat file, it obviously isn't working. Open DataMaster and choose to playback a file, rather than just clicking on the file. I want to say that even with .uni files associated with DataMaster, it still won't open them just by clicking on the files...
