Hey 92Ty, I've got a Diacomp in Flower Mound, but I've never been able to get the program to record. give me a holler if you want to try to figure it out. Bill 972-768-1204

If you are linking up then you just hit the space bar to record and esc to stop.

Look under config for the "trigger" I think you can change it but space bar is easiest.

Then you can use the up anbd down arrows to scroll through frame by frame watching changes, or use GRAPH to graph 3 functions.
Better yet, record it in Diacom then open up Datamaster to view it with.
They have a "play" feature you can let is scroll at any speed and watch for trends.

You have to change the PCM Link - I really need to quit drinking when trying to support people. I believe the number is between 190-205.

Datamaster rocks - you will not believe all the crap you can pull off it. Save your copies and send them to me and I'll look 'em over.

Talk to SyTyJedi - it is Tyler - He is in Arlington - I don't know how close that is - but he is smart and can help.

Arlington is less than 30 minutes away and flower mound is only an hour away. SY1746 I will call you mostlikely on Friday if thats cool. Maybe we can get together soon. Let me know if you get it working. Sounds like these guys on here can help with that and I am usually computer literate.

Hey guys check with me too. I will be in and out of town for the next two months but maybe I can catch up to. I ordered a dual core air to air from CAS that Im waiting on before my sy is running again. I fired the little bitch up yesterday just for kicks and let it idle. MAN, those heads, cam, headers do wonders for the sound. Valve traind sounds silky smooth. Ahhh! sounds nice. I had a guy in Lewisville build me a radiator mount for the twin fan setup, looks great, and a good machine shop. Well I'll be tacking the whole damn thing apart again come december for the race block & speedpro. Im also going to a bigger turbo. After seeing the swede run so well I figured I would change my goals.

Well the new BBZB chip came in so I am gonna put it in in a couple of hours after engine cools down. Wanna break it in with a fresh cold start.

Well it's runnin alot better. Builds a little more boost and doesn't detonate. I am now runnin 10-12 psi consistently. It doesn't shutter when i shut it down anymore either. I also noticed a major difference when i started it up the first time and when i did the test launch it felt like the whole front end came off the ground it was bad ass. Now my shits gotta go back to tranny shop this weekend something is wrong with it.

Well what can I say! When I launched it the other night was awesome till it hit top of 1st the bogggggggggggggrrrrrrrrr bam shift after it started slowing down like 10 miles an hour. I think I really messed it up doing something I don't know but that is what warrenty is for. I am putting a 180 degree thermo in it tonight and seeing if that helps more my quess is it has a 160.

Tranny shop said valve body was disconneted from the intake or whatever. Tried to say it was me. :agrue: I don't think I did but hell I don't know what he is talkin about. Said he will know more tomarro but he thinks something maybe wrong internal cause it is still shifting bad.

Well went back to tranny shop cause it was still not shifting right. Shift points are higher than the rev limiter he said and the tranny should be manually shifted from 1st through 4th while racing at the track. Anyway as soon as I get My new propshaft I'll be driving again. I would like to hear what some of you guys here local are building motors with? TTYL

We DFW boys and girls have to get together some day soon. I have a datamaster and are currently working on 3 Sy's incl my own. 2550, 1396 and 1181. Lets pick a date for some DFW Sy/Ty's get together.
