Southeast GM Turbo6 Cookout - June 15 - Jordan Lake

We'll be at Jordan Lake Vista Point Access at our usual shleter area(the last shelter on the left before the boat drop parking lot, provided it isn't already taken!) I'll plan on arriving around 10:30-11 am to try to "secure" it . I'll have the usual paper plates, flatware, etc. I'm planning on bringing about some burgers, hotdogs & buns, box of 12 can drinks. If everyone planning on coming out could reply back to email & let me know a general headcount, & what you plan to bring, that would help so I can make sure we have enough food to go around. Antone needing directions or want to hook up to cruise there together, let me know. See ya in a few weeks!

Mapquest shows it as 120 miles from Concord area. If you want to look it up, get directions for N Pea Ridge Rd Pittsboro, NC 27312

I just talked to E-Rue about that, And i think since ill probly still have my Typhoon ill drive it up and hang out with you guys. Just let me know what you would like me to pick up.

Just bring a couple burgers or hotdogs to toss on the grill. And perhaps a soda. We usually have more than enough of everything to go around. Hope to see you there

i'll be bringing a cooler full of drinks. I hope to be bringing the sy down if i can get if running well enuff to make it there. it's sucking gas like it's a v-10 turbo :rant:

Can someone bring a scan tool at look at this thing for me as i am clueless about t he 749 ecm and code.

I'm not Larry but I know its about 2 hours from LMS.

Take 49 to ashboro, 64 east just past Pittsboro, its on the right.

clip on mudflaps is the ticket,lol everyone breaks em on me about that ,but at least there is no violation of the cladding ,paint etc

I'm not giving ya a hard time over them. I liked your idea! I have a set clipped on my SY right now. I care more about the paint and body than what everybody else thinks :rant:

When you turn onto N. Pea Ridge Rd from Hwy 64, stay on it all the way into the state park. Continue straight after going through entrance gate. (Park entrance is $5/vehicle)You will see a paved parking lot entrance on the left about 1/2 mi into the park. If you miss it you will be at the boating drop parking lot, so just turn around, it is right beside that lot & the restrooms. In the event that shelter has already been reserved, we may have to move to the other side of that lot or to the boating lot and use grills at the beach area.
As for who is coming, ERue is bringing maybe 10-15 vehicles, myself,Pat, Eric, Clint, Gary & Becky, Mel, Andy, Vernon (maybe), Sean & James & Graham are going to try to come as well . Jordan Lake is always sort of a toss, sometimes we have 2-3 cars, sometimes 20 or more. We should have a pretty good turnout, others have mentioned coming, just not 100% sure they'll make it

I just want to say thank to all those that came out to the lake today to join us motor heads. I hope everyone had a great day and had a safe trip back home.
