Update on my end. Due to the passing of my Father-in-law, right now it looks like the Ty is not gonna be ready to go. Got some things done but others still are in process. I would like for us to have something maybe later like in October (heat and gas prices maybe better). The wife and I are planning a trip to Tybee and Savannah the 5th - 8th. Maybe like the November meet in 2004.

Alright guys....looks like the meet is on. Unfortunately, I'm not 100% sure that I can make it (I know, I suck), but I'm going to try my best to be there for the track, at least. For those of you wishing to stay at a hotel, here's the local info for lodging (as well as directions to the track):

Sorry I didn't give more notice on lodging, but I didn't want anyone to rent a room when we weren't sure the meet was gonna happen.

Fri - Everybody arrives, hang out, and eat.
Sat - We have track from 10am-2pm with local racing afterwards. Eat, hang out, etc...
Sun - Varying departure times (Waller and I will be around till after lunch.)

Where are we meeting at to eat? Disgusta or in S.Carolina?

the member area is the entire track. we have it all to ourselves. admission for spectators is 15 and kids are free. I dont think anything will happen friday unless you make the trek to columbia,sc as I will be there and be happy to meet up with anybody but I'll be working on my truck till event day trying to get it ready.

we can have a friday wrench session at the shop if anybody is interested. I know I will be working all day to get the ty ready after wednesdays disaster.

So where the crap are we meeting on Friday? I wouldn't mind going to Columbia, if only to see Waller's stuff N' junk. Either/ Or doesn't matter to me, I just want to know where I need to be and at what time I should be expected.

P.S. If ANYBODY is a beer guy, my brother just brewed a raspberry wheat that is very, very good (and on tap).

I will be coming from Disgusta (now that I am here). Gonna wash the GT in the AM then pop up to see Waller as soon as it dries. You got a time that's "good" for you John or just whenever...I think it's 'bout an hour away from here.
