Post a list of all the known members usernames in our areas . If a member doesnt post or doesnt come around much , they can easily fly under radar and possibly not attend . You're the only one who really knows whos around . If everyone knew , contact can be made amongst ourselves , or pm's could be sent to drum up attendance . I would love to see 40+ sytys , so post up who all those trucks belong to . Yes individual pm's would overload 1 or 2 people but ...

If each Fast/Gast hardcore member took 5 names off that list and personally reached out via pm or email , how hard would it be . Putting it out there is how youll draw them in . I volunteer to take 5 myself . A simple pm saying "Hi , I wanted to make sure you were going to attend our big meet coming up . Is your syty currently up and running ,and if not , what do you need to do to get it to the meet?" will be a good start . Every couple months , a new pm , with new updates . That will eliminate the question of whos gonna show or not .

No one can hide if their names up for the world to see (tyson LOL). Some broken sytys just need a reason for their owners to fix them whether it be laziness , loss of interest , or sheer procrastination . Lets give them a damn reason . :myclone:

Welp, Ive got the FL mailing list, which has 67 members, some that dont have trucks but still particpate and 2 GA guys (Hood and Pope). There are a bunch of people on the FL list who I never see post or particpate...in fact, I have no idea if they even still have trucks.....theres also a large group that is on the list but also on here as well. Gary knows about 10-15 trucks in his area that he can contact by phone.

I know/knew of 2 around me. Both of which have changed owners, and I don't even know if they are in the area still. Highly doubt the owners would go to any meet's either. They all seem not to care about it like we do.

Votes should only count if the voter guarantees attendance. Too many times we've planned events around individuals who say they will only attend if it is a certain place and they are always the ones who don't show. I've stopped contacting the names on my list (140 plus) in Florida because they only show, if at all, if the event is in their backyard. We all know who willl attend. The loudest voices for where it should be are the ones who rarely attend an event.

Agreed....this (to me) will be a lot like Nats. You come because you want to, not because it's convenient, or because there are prizes, or because we're begging you to. I don't want people there who aren't happy just being there, because we don't want/need to concern ourselves with making sure that they're having the time of their lives or that they always have something cool to do or whatever.

I've seen the FAST crew drive thousands of miles to Nationals year after year and not expect anything in return but to see people they enjoy hanging out with and to see a lot of trucks. No handouts, no begging, no rewards. That's the kind of people that are going to make this event repeatable and bigger each year. That's the kind that we're gonna beat the bushes to find and invite.

I voted and plan to attend but can not say for sure. Hope to be living in NC by then but don't know that for sure either. I have family in the Valdosta area (30-45mins away)so I voted for that so I can visit them before or after the event. I wouldn't have voted if I wasn't planing to go. Just saying so you all know my motivation since you will see my location is PA.

Just some FYI for everyone else who reads this thread and is not located in the SE. If you want to come, please do. In fact, the bigger attendance and commitment we can get and get a good solid large group, I would be glad to take this further and plan on getting more stuff to raffle off and make it a bigger event than we initially are planning.

Im getting in contact with the local FL GN club and get their thoughts and invite them to participate and see about the track situation and if they would be interested.

my favorite restaurant is in Kissime so i vote for Orlando for the chance to come hang out with my FL peeps get some great eats and see some sytys all in one weekend. what could be better? btw i am looking for at a 12-15hp pocket bike so i may not have a fast syty any more but i may be able to beat someone on the bike

The chopper will be in full force knowing this. I was gonna leave it at 49cc if the competition was equal, but it looks like the 13hp/N2O motor will be going back on. Might see if I can source a 18hp V-Twin and spray it.

Let's do a tight course prelim and see if the extra power helps. If the comp is close, we'll keep one class and have a trophy for PB Race Winner. Otherwise, I'll just ride for fun. If need be, I'll keep the 49cc engine on and lighten the Chopper more to keep up with ya'll.

you know we gotta do one section that has a nice straightaway for some gross display of who has the bigger nutsack to go into the turns the fastest.

the miami meet is in Jan.... if you and pope make it down, i'll bring mine so we can do some comparison runs at garys and see what kinda course we can set up.

if your gonna modify your bike again, fix that thing so you can use an electric start again. that beyotch was hummin after we got that down with the gas dumping out of the velocity stack

Ive heard back from the local central FL GN rep...
He is going to spread the word to his group and see what kind of interest there is to join up and get back with me. He is pretty sure there would be interest to come to an event with a bunch of turbo 6s.

I'll probably attend one of their meetings coming up and talk more with them and give out more details.

If it's in Orlando I will be there. To many little kids to go to far in a car. In Orlando you can always send the family to Disney, Sea world, and Universal makes for a more involved day at the track. If the trucks not running can always bring the GN. just my 2 cents
