Re: Southern NATS caravan?
Rodney,Jeremy i havent traveled the will rogers turnpike to kansas from tulsa before. isnt it fairly new. I believe it is faster or worth the toll fee's in my opinion, less traffic, no towns, stoplights and so on. I havent looked at a map to go from tulsa to overland park. all i know is that Jeremy has stated it takes 4-1/2 hours from tulsa to the hotel i would assume. It's 7-1/2 hours from houston to tulsa, I have no plans on where to stay yet. My girlfriend is wanting to stay at her friends new house in a out of the way side of town not in the greatest area for my Typhoon to sleep outside. I could drop her off and we could all pitch in on a hotel room or two and hit a bar or two that evening. I would say getting into tulsa about 5 sounds fair. We could pick up Jeremy and maybe have some dinner at his restuarant. Rodney are you coming in to tulsa via hwy75 or the turnpike? we have to drop off the kid at the grandparents in tulsa so i might just plan on getting there at 4. If you can pick up Jeremy Rodney then i could be ready to meet you guys by the time you get into tulsa. Bruce had mentioned to me he will be coming with some friends/family and towing either his sy or ty so maybe he would be interested in making the trip to tulsa and staying the night there for the drive in the morning to overland park. I'd like to get to overland around 12 to eat some lunch and get all our trucks washed up and looking good from the long drive. I will supply all the detailing equipment for the croud that decides to caravan from texas/new mexico(rodney). I've got a good source for all my detailing needs stationed out of broken arrow tulsa, i've been using there products sence the first day i used them. They are fairly enexpensive and the results are awsome. I might bring my makita buffer and offer some full details for a fairly cheap price. There rubbing compounds and finish's are outstanding results on old paint with a good buff massage. waiting in line for the water hose at nats sucks unless you show early. Ya i'll have room for some coolers Rodney.
