Spacer problem C6 Z06 wheels (PICS ADDED!)

Just bought some beautiful 18" Chrome C6 Z06 wheels for my Ty from Bones Enterprises. 18x9.5 up front and 18x10.5 in back. The problem is that they sent me 2.5" spacers for the rears and told me that those are the correct ones for our trucks with that wheel. I mounted them up and the rears are sticking way outside the rear fender... What size spacer should I be running so I can get on the phone with them and get it corrected?? Other than the wheels where a great buy and I highly recomend doing business with them Thanks

I think the correct meaurement is 1 or 1.5 ", I prefer the later. Try putting something behind the wheel between 1"-1.5" and see what you like. I have seen trucks on here with Z06 rims with rear spacers and felt they needed a bit more (thus my pref. for 1.5" opposed to 1").

Can you tell me a bit more about the wheels? What offsets and what size, brand tires? I want the same thing but likely in this arrangement for my SY (all 18"btw). I can't decide on tires sizes however.

take a ruler, yard stick, tape measure, ect, measure how far they stick out, them subtract that from 2.5", thats your answer.

I am going to use a 1 1/4" Spacer in the rear. Well, thats cause I have them in stock already at my shop. So I might as well use them.

mine Z06's are 9.5 wide and I have 1in adapter and mine sit just a hair inside the cladding.

2.5" is for the 2wd trucks .....my 17x8.50's use 2.25" adapters.

Morgans all over it. Tape Measure + Math = the right number to tell them.

I called them and they said I need the 2 inch spacer up front, none in back. That's what they use on all ty's. Fronts look fine with no spacer as is. I will toy with it tonight and figure it all out.

To add to that it seems I will need a least a 3/4" spacer in rear to make it flush with cladding. Wheels look great though, I will get it situated.

what are the offsets. if the rears are 58mm, then you need approx 1" adapters

I have those exact same wheels on my Ty (got them from Bones also) and have 275/35/r18 Sumitomos on the front and the spacing is perfect with no rubbing turning lock to lock, just bolt them on and forget about them. On the back (remember 9.5 wide rim on the front and 10.5 rim on the back so in the end the overall diameter is the same) I have 285/35/r18 Sumitomos and they could use a 1" spacer to be even with the cladding, but I plan on putting 315/30/r18's on the back (couldn't afford them when I got the rims) and then I don't think you would need any spacer at all to be even with the cladding.

The only thing I don't like about the 285's on the back is that the 10.5" rim is just a touch wider than the rubber and looks a little funny up close, but from the side it looks super sexy.

Thanks Bizkit. I just had them send me a 1" spacer which I also believe is the right size. I am also running 285/35zr18 in back and 245/40/zr18 up front.

245 on a 9.5 wheel, isn't that too narrow? I just bought (4) 9.5" x 18"s and have 275/35 all around, as recommended by the wheel manufacturer. Concerning the +54, is that front and back with the 1" spacer in the back? I see all sorts of offsets for the 9.5 x 18 wheels, +54, +56, +58.....all in all it's only a few millimters...what's the big deal?

17x9.5 +54mm all around with a 1in. spacer in the back.

Cool, the 18"x x9.5" ZR1's I just bought yesterday have +54mm offset with 275/35. Only difference is that I bought 1.25" rear spacers....hopefully all will work out well.

I have 1-1/4" spacers coming instead of the 2 inchers that are on there, and if that doesn't work I will go to a 1" Bones enterprises has been real helpful with me making sure I am 100% happy with the wheels. here are some pics. Any ideas, comments?? I know the truck wasn't cleaned up spotless but you'll get the idea.

Thanks! I haven't seen those wheels on any other TY or SY myself but I loved the way they looked when I saw them. I took the chance and ordered them and luckily I am happy with the way they look on truck!
