Anyones from the board? Can you tell me about the truck?

I just saw the old Speed Inc orange Camaro at Bryon this past Sunday. It was very impressive. It ran an 8.5 at 168.

Re: Speed Inc Typhoon

12blt rear from a chevelle
No 3.42 gear for an 8.8

It's got a 408 LS motor, he didn't list heads or cam

sorry guys i just saw this thread:oops:this is my truck,i am the head fabricator, welder at speed inc.thanks for the props:tup:just for a quick update:it uses etp 245 cylinder heads, very small hydraulic roller cam,the rear end was going to be a 8.8 and i was going to switch the front to a 3.73 but i did the math and the 3.42's made more sense that is why it got switched to a gm rear end....also our old shop car was built by me as well,it is a 383c.i lsx block, trick flow heads, hydraulic roller, and all the other goodies.the current owner really hasnt made a clean/hard pass on the car i am certain there is a 7 second pass in it.i took the car on hotrod drag week 2 years ago and finished 2nd in the small block power adder class with an average of 8.66@161mph:tup:went 1500 miles and did nothing more than change tires at the track, add race fuel and changed plugs twice all week:pgod i miss that car:(
