I was gonna say something,but obviously none of these SRT guys save for a few that know what's up,have ever experienced a Sy/Ty launch.

We just got a little old 280 hp V6. 500 hp> 280 hp right?

Stock for stock I will take ours all day long. Traction owns.


I do like all the SRT vehicles,can't beat a hot rod with a warranty,but honestly,the only thing I ever worry about on the street,between the stoplights,is big bikes,which,if you think aboot it is pretty damn funny.

Granted,my truck is not stock,but it's really not "BUILT" either. I can do 60 in the 3's on cobblestones.All day long.In the rain.

So, IMO this thread is done.We get NO and I mean NO respect from anyone.

But we also don't give a shit cause we win 99% of the time.

Just be careful with the 2009 Nissan GT-R or you are gonna be heartbroke . What I find amusing is that after 17 years, people STILL can't come to grips with the fact that GMC STILL holds the title for the "quickest" production truck to ever roll off the assembly line. Not only does it rule in the truck class, it will wipe and clean almost every single stock car, including many modded ones, that rolls up beside it through the 1/4 (to include alot of bikes, as you have already pointed out). You and I know what the SRT/10 is about.....I just wish we would have videotaped the race to post. Only problem is some viewers may have claimed I "let" you wax me because I am pro-Syclone diehard material :tup:.

Dang... well there is a quad cab black SRT-10 that is rolling on the north shore of Oahu. It is nice looking. Lowered, black centered wheels and exhaust. It had a Schofield barracks military officer sticker on the windshield.
I need to make it to the big island, but it wont be for a few years. How about some pictures of your truck btw?

RGR that, only SRT-10's on Big Island I know of besides mine is my old co-woker and his sons ones. The dad has a 04 RC with mufflers, flywheel, cam-work, and some big azz 24'' JJ rims. His son bought a QC from Oahu that was already SC'ed, headers, cam, and some other bolt-ons. When the Superferry comes down here you gotta bring your Sy/Ty and I can try get some trucks and cars together to hit up Hilo's track.

I think most people have a lot of respect for your trucks. Not one of us bashed y'all or said that you weren't fast. I do like your trucks and they are bad azz. The discussion here really is just about stock trucks in stock form. It's not an us against y'all thing but unfortunately it turns into that. You want to talk about not getting respect, the SRT-10 is hated by everyone. You would think that the SRT-10 stole every ones lunch money or something.

Thats just the way it is, I could bet all the money in my account it would be the same way if we went over there. We go through this a few times a year. I think I have been the cause of a few of the locked ones :lol:

True, true. BTW no one really uses the SRT10 forum anymore. Everyone is on the VTCOA.com forum for anyone who cares.

We live this shit. AWD + stupid torque= you lose.

You come on our board,never having experienced a launch in our trucks (launch = you are losing BAD already.My speedo stars at like 40 when I do it) because you think your truck is quick,but honestly man,you have no clue.

Put the magazines down,go for a couple of boost launches,then come here and tell me what you know,not what you think.
