Re: stock chip /eprom carrier

I took a page from sytyguy (Mike Hood) and removed the stock chip and added a nice socket so that I could swap chips or add in the ostrich. Let me know if you want this one!

Re: stock chip /eprom carrier

I gues ive got it all wrong. I have that part but its piggybacked to a board that holds a large black ic chip some sort of adjustment and has a ribon wire coming off it leading to a control on my dash with a knob and diplay that reads from 1 to 9 and A to F. this unit i know nothig about and want to eliminate it untill i lean more. thanks for the offer and please excuse my ignorance. any help or insight about this would be appreciated.

It's a moates switcher setup. My guess is you're looking at a Turbotime (?) chip?

Pull the memcal off the sandwich board and stick it back in the ECM. Change your MAP sensor back to a 2 bar.

Make sure your MEMCAL has the right broadcast code numbers like the pic aaron posted above.
