Stock injector size

I have noticed that my injectors are leaking down very quickly so I was thinking about pulling them to be cleaned and flowed. On the other hand, I have a new set of Accel high impedence 30 lb that I have been sitting on for another build. My question is what the hell size are the stock injectors. I searched on this site and found 26#, 28#, 30#, 32.5# and 33# all being explained as stock injector ratings. The majority were 30 and 32.5. WHat exactly is the true factory rating on the injector. I know it depends on what psi they were tested at but for the most part, what are they. I believe that they are 30#. The reason being is the Ford Racing 30#ers are the same color and look identical being that Bosch makes injectors for most OEMs. Can anyone supply a definite answer. I dont want to hear about 50# injectors or 40# injectors. I just want to know what the stock injectors are rated at because I am interested in keeping my truck stock. Also, if anyone has a stock set that have been rebuilt or that are in like new condition, I might be interested in buying them.

If your plan is a stock truck , get the stockers cleaned and call it a day . Anything else wouldnt be stock like you desire .

Before you blame the inj's check the fuel pump and FPR. :2cents:

Brand new Walbro and AFPR....but thanks....how about what size are the stock injectors?

I thought they were 28's.

I can't comment on the actually rating, but my factory injectors were measured to flow 32-32.1 #/hr at 43.5 psi.

An Accel Injector will probably have a different flow rate through its range vs the factory injectors. You might find some tune issues with the factory chip because of this. The factory ECM doesn't compensate well for injectors with different flow rates.
