Re: Stock Turbo Adjustment

Well I put the bigger ones in because I blew up the motor due to number 5 leaning out and melting the piston. I was told this was how to fix that problem.

Re: Stock Turbo Adjustment

I had it running mid 13's in the 1/4 mile and now im not sure it would even put a 14 sec pass on the board. I cant keep motor mounts in it anymore either. Before I never broke one now I broke 2 the second one didnt make past the first launch....... Needless to say im very frustrated, spend all this money try to improve it a little and it feels like all I did was go backwards.....

Code what?
Research, research and more research. Cylinders don't just lean out on there own, it's usually due to an injector issue or a spark knock problem. If your only running 15psi stock chip and a new set of stock injectors will be fine.

Solid mounts are a good option if your going to race often. Heat shields are very important for stock and poly mounts. Do some searching here on the forum before you make decisions next time. Tons of info here from people who have already been there done that.

Re: Stock Turbo Adjustment

id go back to stock injectors and then contact eric at turbo tweak to get a chip made for you. I had a grand national with unknown injectors and an atr chip from the previous owner- it idled shitty and had a lot of drivability issues. got a set of stock injectors from a friend and a turbo tweak chip and all of my issues disappeared. we picked up a full second in the 1/4- that's how shitty it was running with the shit chip and injectors

I know some have had bad luck with aftermarket motors mounts. Get some solid mounts, frame pads and be done.
