Well Street drags for me was not such a good time. I finally got an aggressive tune dialed in. I was smoking all 4 tires for like 10 feet on dry raod. I discovered I need a stall really bad. I watched Bill’s launches and they are pretty violent. When I build boost at the line my tires start to break loose and I get a lot of wheel spin out of the hole.
I raced in the open class. I won the first race against a 5.0 Mustang. Then I got beat two times in a row. I was out. The guy that took me out had 11.5 written on his window from the last ¼ strip he was at. As I sat in line waiting to race I could tell I was getting heat soak compared to my first run. I could feel the truck pull timing my last two runs. As I got warmer it wanted more alky and I did'nt have time to turn it up. I have some video but it sucks because my uncle was no good with the camera.
Then Bill and I were getting ready for the AWD race. I was just about to pull up to the line and my truck stalled. I lost all power from the battery. I’m not really sure why. I have the battery relocated to the bed and I must have a bad connection some place. By the time I got jumper cables and started it up the AWD competition was over. Bill did real well. I think he got 2nd place. I was very disappointed that night. I only got to race three times and missed out on a friendly race against Bill. There is always next year. The wife just OK’ed a bigger turbo. I will have to sneak a stall converter in there and save for a tranny rebuild. So far it has not skipped a beat so maybe I will get lucky. You sure hit highs and lows with these trucks.

I would love to make it there for the 26th but I work evenings. I have to take a day off just to go down there. I cant afford to take more time off. I need to stick to the time off plan I have so me and the women can head to Hawaii this spring. I think its going to get put away for the year. Start preping it for a bigger turbo. Going with the PTE54 and a 3000 stall. See how far that takes me. I hope I can feed it enough alky for 25 psi.

Is anyone going to show up this year and show that talon whats up. There is also some cool footage of Bill racing his Typhoon. I need a stall. I love how he comes out of the hole. Im still waiting for him to tell me what stall hes using

I only live about 10 min from it, but my truck is not together, suppose I could run it without a box or doors.
