There was a white/white typhoon in the StreetTrucks magazine 50th ann. Edition. Is the owner around on the board? or does anyone even know? The owner is Tom Dowd. Its a beautiful Typhoon. says it has 946hps and 794lbs of tq. I was just going to give the owner some gratitude on owning a sweet truck.

900 plus horsepower? absolutely not. that has to be a misprint. i read what it runs and there must be a misprint. impossible to have that time and that much horsepower.

So does tom use this board? and has anyone ever talked to him to see if he can confirm the hps and tq? or even a 1/4 mile time?

yea i read it too said like 9## hp and 7## ft lb
seamed alittle odd to me and he made this much with 60lb injectors
just dosent soud right

yea tom is on this board. i have seen his truck personally just a couple weeks ago and it is one damn nice truck. his screen name here is norcalterror

IIRC, he was using n2o on his truck. That would explain the hp being higher than the torque. And it could very well be possible to have 9--hp.

Hey, for all of you that think this is a bull shit article and the hp's aren't correct, well, some news for you, those are the dyno specs and I drove that beast and I tell you what, it's all the article says and more. What an awesome Ty. I will let him know to take a look at this page and let him explain the details.
