I think it was '87 when they went to the 2.0L. I had an '85 Sunbird GT with the 1.8L Turbo, which as far as my research told me back in the day was a 2 year engine only, '85, '86. I'm pretty sure the next year, they switched to the 2.0L turbo.

Hmmm... Not what I have. I even looked in the owner's manual - it doesn't even mention foglights, and it shows your pod in the drawing. Perplexing. Oh, that's right - it's GM.

Yes, these are the 2.0L, 165hp, 175lb-ft. I think they switched to the 2.0 in '88 (not positive) but bailed on the turbo-4 for the 3.1-V6 in '91. (Used to have one of them too - not quite as fun w/o boost.)
