All the sellers out there be very careful. Thought I had the truck sold last week until the guy showed up with a very real looking but ultimately fake cashier’s check. And I am shocked how many people have contacted me asking to do payments, lease, etc. Never had an experience like this selling a vehicle....

better watch out on letting a vehicle go without going to double check for those to be real theres alot of scammers out there thats why its better cash or nothing

My better half has always wanted a 67/68 Camaro...so it may be time for a surprise. Other than cold hard cash for the truck, I would be interested in a 68 Camaro or even a 67. Manual trans only, no automatics. Coupe, no convertibles. Have some cash to add to the right deal. My wish list would be a 68, RS or SS, small block, 4 speed or properly converted 5 speed and if it's in CA, a black plate car. Biggest thing is NO rust or panel repairs needed. Not looking for a "project" car or anything that needs body panels replaced or rust removed. If the paint is worn, that’s fine. Looking for a driver, something we can cruise in. The more paperwork/original the better but not looking for an investment grade car. PM me if you are looking to get rid of one. Clean title, no salvage cars.

thanks everyone

Re: Sy # 005 - 49k miles, prototype truck, needs nothing but a good home..

Hello all,

An update on my end. Discovered a slight oil leak and traced it to the pass side vavle cover gasket. just replaced both valve cover gaskets with new blue fel-pro ones.

Found a camaro that would be perfect for the fwife but I need to close the deal by this sunday (8/14/11) or I lose it to another buyer, so between now and then I am a little more motivated to REAL cash offers as long as the transaction is completed by this saturday. My hope is it goes to a board memeber that will continue to care for the truck as my nephew has, hopefully one of the 4 board members that have viewed the truck because the other offers/viewers that have come from Craigslist and autotrader worry me a little. There are a lot of NOS parts, original pices and bocuments/books/materials that are included in the sale.

Thanks everyone:myclone:

If you're ever in Estonia keep your eyes open for an Aspen Ty, and if you see it get the VIN.
Good luck with the sale.

I was just looking for "Estonia" on search results and found this subject. I know the guy who own the Aspen Ty here in Estonia - why you needed the VIN? I could go and ask for it... :)
