Great job! I remember building my 97 GMC w/02 LS6 and love it. This is just my opinion but I'd ditch the sanderson headers and go with some 1 3/4" long tubes or 1 7/8" if you can fit them. It would be a significant horsepower increase but it's not like you need it. You've done an excellent job on this truck.

You wouldn't happen to know Lynn Hopkins would you? He lives in SC and sells used LSX's and they've all been top notch.

If you're talking about the Lynn near Bishopville off I-20, I bought the tranny from him. Never got his last name.

I had to put the fenders back on to test fit the fiberglass rockers before paint. I tried finding some original rockers but as luck would have it, they've been certified gold. I just opted to use what I had, they are going to be painted anyway. Paint and body man has been slammed at work and this work is being done on the side. Good part is, the paint and installing the tonneau cover is all that is left. Lee

Didn't like the bulky center caps that came with the wheels but they are screw on and without them, it left 5 small holes in the wheels. Decided to machine the caps down to this.

think the casing may have gotten cracked somehow, maybe lightning....who knows. Water would not clear up and would stop up a sediment filter in a couple days, pumping a lot of sugar sand and clay. New well is down 124'. Lee
