some guys were asking me if we should have a meet,, and bittburg has a big track, and a nice sports hotel with a strip joint, a whore house, 3 discotheqeus (sp?) with breakfast and such, i been there once and had a blast. of a time. parking lot is big enough and the strip has plenty of room. you can even set up a tent there.

you´d be stunned how many sy/ty´s there are in austria - we had an uscar-dealer in vienna who imported about 100 trucks when they where new - many are still around. you see sys at every singel uscar-meeting here!
you don´t come to carinthia on your trip, do you?

I think Carinthia is east of Innsbruck somehwere ??

the furthest east I will be on this trip anyway is St Anton. Thanks for the invite tho :tup:

yup, east and south. lots of snow in st.anton? we got like 6 feet over the last 2 weeks.
be save on them crowded mountains!

Set off home this morning from St Anton. Left at 0900 on the dot we had alot of snow yesterday and the weather was pretty bad until after crossing in to southern Germany today. Arrived at the hotel in central Koblenz at 1500. It's about 370miles had a couple of stops so we were averaging about 60mph for that stretch. It doesnt sound alot but the weather in Austria really slowed us down alot. So short run tomorrow to get to Amsterdam for the ferry.

Left central Koblenz yesterday morning at 0945 and had a blast on the autobahn up to Arnhem. The roads were pretty clear and the weather was dry and sunny as far as Arnhem. We did that section (175m) in 2 hours exactly.....avg 87mph but that includes getting out of Koblenz. We were running at 100-110mph on the clear bits of the autobahn. The run from Arnhem to Ijmuiden was much slower :rotf:. Got to the ferry about 1330 which is about 65mph avg.....wots with those 60mph limits in NL Rene ?? :rotf:

Got off the ferry this morning and home in glasgow at 1230 today.

We had our only problem of the trip this morning when we were leaving the ferry. My buddies seatbelt decided to lock up !! Apart from that no problems, no fluids used and no problems in the snow either.

Total of 1574m total driven no problems.......thanks Sy#2101 for getting us there and back! :tup:

the 60 speedlimits...most are 70. they do that to keep the noise down and can lay down cheaper roads,
impressive trip you did man! waste you didn't stop bu arnhem is only about 1 hour from here. you could have crashed over here, we could have gotten drunk and went to the redlight district to look at ho's ;)
