Man I hope this truck is decent. We might as well give it a tuneup (I got stuff) and see if it's worth messing with.
Ever get the VIN? We need a carfax.

I don't know exactly how to post pics, never had to? the truck has 109,000 miles on it. rebuilt trans, fresh front suspension(ball joints, a arm bushings, shocks, brakes,etc.) clean, tuned up, MAINTANED truck. sorry Doug this one was close to home but you'll have yours sold quickly I'm positive.

I'll disclose anything. the truck was on the second page of my original "not ment to be" thread on clasic car trader .com or something. it was on auto trader as well but at the asking price and miles and such I wasn't overly interested. I even called and spoke with the owner a month ago and told him I was going to keep looking. I'm sure he never expected to hear from me especialy when he was asking almost 10,000. I took a chance and took a look. right off the get I noticed the paint was way to nice and found out it had been painted. not good because who knows if it was just repaint or repair but on with the price $8,000. then I found 2 quarters and a few pennys on the floor so $7,999.72. not the greatest but cheaper than shipping!

With some search around for body panel should able to tell if its a repaint or repair. the paint on these trucks, its super thin and chip very easily. A quality paint job is a positive in my opinion. $8K for little over 100K mile truck isn't a bad deal at all (obviously that depends on the condition and mechanic operation of the truck)

the previous owner threw money at the truck and chased down sy/ty specific mechanics and such to work on the thing so he says? I haven't found anything strange or out of place. It has taylor wires, conrad cap and he said the tune up was fresh. somebody didn't put those specific parts on by mistake! I bought new plugs tonight and a sending unit for the temp guage that isn't working. only thing out of place is a conicle air filter on the turbo and a k&n breather on the driver side valve cover. where that pcv hose was supposed to go to I don't recall off hand?
