Turbolink states that they can run both Sy/Ty's and GN's. I'm debating this purchase also but would like to find out if Turbolink offers as much as Datamaster.

From my experience turbolink 4.0 has about as much as datamaster when it comes to displayed data points. It also has the trending option and DTC display. It doesn't have the histogram like datamaster, which I use quite often. I also personally don't care for the dash display vs. a no nonsense display like datamasters. Overall it comes down to personal preference, but heed my warning make sure you have a laptop with a serial port turbolink doesn't like adapters.

I have Datamaster and a friend Turbolink. So far Datamaster wins every time for ease of use and displaying what I need to see at a glance. I like the ability to have 4 parameters graphing at the bottom with the rest of the data at the top. I can zoom in look for trends in the graph and then look at the other variables.

The Turbolink dash display has the "oh cool" factor for the first few times you see it then you realize you don't need all the needles.

After using both we both agree turbolink needs some work still
